Gordon Ramsay's Ultimate Cookery Course

With the idle time during feeding, I've found a few ways to entertain myself:

1. Watching TV
We've unsubscribed cables for 3 years now (maybe more) and no TV pads.  So I've picked a few channels that I like to watch.  Food Network gotta be one of my favorites!

I've been watching Gordon Ramsay's Ultimate Cookery Course.  It's amazing!! Cooking show from Jamie Oliver is good.  But Gordon Ramsay's is GREAT!!  Each program shows quite a few recipes and loaded with cooking tips!

2. eBooks
I've been "researching" on different free eBook resources, Overdrive, 3M Cloud Library, Books24x7, Google books (free samples only).  Each has its own reasons to exist.

Overdrive and 3M Cloud Library are free through the library access. 3M Cloud Library is great because it has lots of latest books and great variety.  But books are limited, probably it's still new.  Navigation is so so, I'd prefer Google Books.

Just discovered a way to access Books24x7 without connecting to the company's network.  I should give it a try some time to read it on a tablet. :)

Growth spurt - The culprit of a cranky baby

I start to realize that Baby L has the same traits as Baby R.  They both get crazy when feeling hungry.  Yesterday has been a rough day.  I believe it's growth spurt for Baby L.  The intuition side of me telling me that he's hungry, however, the logical side of me thinking he cannot be hungry all the time an hour right after feeding!!  After "accepting the truth", we act accordingly.  And today, he's an angel baby again!!

If there's a predictor / indicator of when the growth spurt will happen / happens, it would be a big seller!

Goal#1 - 120 books challenge

Still trying to establish a more predictable schedule for baby L. In the meanwhile, I think its a good time to set up some concrete goals for my mat leave. :)

Goal #1 : 120 books challenge

I have been tracking books I've read through goodreads. And just realized that they have an option for ppl to set a goal of how many books they are gonna read in a yr.  So here I am. 120 books seem a lot but quite a number of them would be kids books, so they take very little time to read.
Let's see if i could achieve this goal in the end!
